A community-based play is a play that is created and performed by community members. The play tells the collective story as devised by the participants with the guidance of Civic artists. All members of our community are welcome to participate in these plays. There are two phases to the process: story collection and devising, and rehearsal and performance. Participants do not have to take part in both phases, though everyone who wants to is encouraged to get up on stage. If you would like more information about how to get involved, please contact Sarah K. Chalmers (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Our next community-based play will be announced soon. Fill out the form below to get involved!
