Incident At Vichy
Arthur Miller’s Rarely-Produced Holocaust Play
Monday, July 27th, 7pm at the Kitchen Theatre
Directed by Beth Milles
Civic Ensemble is devoted to producing work that engages all members of the Ithaca community artistically and civically.
In the interest of presenting theatre projects in Ithaca that humanize Jewish culture, history, and heritage, Civic Ensemble is producing a staged reading of Arthur Miller’s classic play Incident At Vichy at the Kitchen Theatre this July. Incident At Vichy tells the story of a group of men and a boy detained and held to wait, unknowingly, for what turns out to be their “racial” inspection by German military officers and French police during World War II.
