Do You See Me by Shai Ben-Dor

A short documentary by Shai Ben-Dor

Last September, Civic Ensemble toured our 2014 community-based play, SAFETY: A PLAY ABOUT COMMUNITY-POLICE RELATIONS. We are so grateful for the feedback you sent us. The number one question we received was: “When are you doing it again?”
Whether you missed SAFETY the first time, or would like to see it again, you are invited to the premiere screening of the film of SAFETY created by Ithaca’s own Moving Box Studios, this Friday at 7:30pm at the Kitchen Theatre.
Before Safety, we’ll present the public premiere of a ten-minute documentary by Ithaca College student filmmaker Shai Ben-Dor, entitled Do You See Me. This excellent short film includes interviews with everyone from police officers to professors, and addresses community-police relation issues nationally and in Ithaca, NY in particular. The evening will include a discussion with Shai Ben-Dor and members of the cast of SAFETY.

We hope to see you Friday evening at the Civic Ensemble Double-Feature!
