Youth Forum Theatre Troupe

If you’re in grades 7-12 and interested in theatre and change-making, join us for our latest session of the Youth Forum Theatre Troupe. We’ll explore various issues and triumphs we notice in society, and create theatre to address them.
Theatre and Housing Workshops

If you’ve ever had any anxiety around your personal housing circumstances, join us for our weekly workshop series where we’ll explore navigating housing and resources in Tompkins County. Whether that’s loss of stability, major life event change, loss of physical home and space, lack of safety and/or uncertainty about the future of your housing. We welcome you to share your personal stories and experiences navigating the systems that exist around housing.
For five weeks, you’ll participate in theatre activities and discussions. No theatre experience is needed.
You are encouraged to attend all sessions.

BAC Meet Up: Introduction to Physical Theatre

Theatre is deeply physical.

For our first Beloved Artistic Community Meet-Up workshop, we'll explore such physicality with director, educator, and cultural worker, Sarah Plotkin.

Sarah will be guiding us through the basics of physical theatre—a style of theatre that emphasizes movement as an important part of the storytelling. In this 90 min workshop, we’ll explore different physical theater techniques through games and create original work in small groups.
Dates: February 19, 2025
Time: 6:30 pm
Location: Community School of Music & Arts in Hamlin Hall.
