If you’re in grades 7-12 and interested in theatre and change-making, join us for our latest session of the Youth Forum Theatre Troupe. We’ll explore various issues and triumphs we notice in society and create theatre to address them.

Beloved Artistic Community Meet Up: Stand-Up Comedy & Humorous Storytelling

"Life's a joke, find the funny." -Kenneth McLaurin​

Crowned Ithaca’s Best Comedian (2023), Kennth McLaurin will teach the basics of stand-up comedy and funny storytelling in this fun, interactive workshop. 

 

For our Beloved Artistic Community Meet-Up, we’ll learn how to write jokes, deliver punchlines, and turn our everyday experiences into laugh-out-loud moments. Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to build confidence and make their stories more entertaining! 

Dates: March 19, 2025

Time: 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Location: Community School of Music & Arts in Martha Hamblin Hall.

Theatre and Housing Workshops

If you’ve ever had any anxiety around your personal housing circumstances, join us for our weekly workshop series where we’ll explore navigating housing and resources in Tompkins County. Whether that’s loss of stability, major life event change, loss of physical home and space, lack of safety and/or uncertainty about the future of your housing. We welcome you to share your personal stories and experiences navigating the systems that exist around housing.

 

For five weeks, you’ll participate in theatre activities and discussions. No theatre experience is needed. 

 

You are encouraged to attend all sessions.
